Ben was raised in the Santa Rosa Valley, surrounded by his family’s legacy farms. From a young age he was in the middle of it—watching, helping, and picking up what it means to keep a farm running. With Sefton, he started The Produce Guys as a way to carry on that background while putting his own stamp on it.

Sefton grew up in Southern California but spent time on his family’s farms in Oregon, where he first got a feel for the work and rhythm of farming. At Moorpark College, he wanted to do more than just study—he wanted to build something. That led him to starting The Produce Guys, where he’s learning by doing and figuring out what it takes to run a farm day by day.
